I have trained as an Acupuncturist with The Acupuncture Academy and received a Professional Licentiate in Acupuncture which is a three year degree qualification accredited by the British Acupuncture Accreditation Board and the Professional Standards Authority.

With this accreditation, I am a member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC), the largest regulatory body for practitioners of acupuncture in the UK.

My training covered acupuncture and Chinese medicine theory, with an emphasis on Five element approach alongside western biomedicine to understand the body systems and where conditions may occur.

I am passionate about Five Element Acupuncture which focuses on a holistic approach, treating the individual as a whole, whilst establishing the root cause and enabling the body to gently rebalance and repair.

Nature is a huge part of our wellbeing, therefore I place emphasis on how we relate to our surroundings, the seasons and the world using the Five Elements.

Prior to becoming an acupuncturist, I was a primary school teacher for 10 years, where providing care, support and growth to individuals was an integral part of my teaching career and now at the heart of my acupuncture career.

I love yoga, qigong, good food, the sunshine, my cats, Cape Town and trying new things.
